Fuck Yeah Canadian Pride
In case any of you are interested…

If you open a no-fee bank account (using someone’s Orange Key) with ING Direct by December 31st you get a $50 bonus! Normally you only get $25 for opening an account with an orange key but right now ING is upping the bonus to $50.

All you have to do is open an account (bank accounts are no-fee) and deposit $100 in the new account (you can take it out once the account is open and you’ve got your bonus - takes a couple weeks from what I remember). Just remember that in the online application there is a place to enter what they call an “orange key” which is basically a referral code from people who already have accounts with them. You have to put the orange key in there otherwise you won’t get the bonus. If you forget you could possibly call them and get it added.

Once the bonus is deposited you are free to take all your money out. I opened an account last year for the bonus and was able to take all my money out shortly after with no issues.

If anyone is interested I’d love for you to use my orange key which is: 39176573S1 as I will also get a $50 bonus. Once your account is all opened (it takes a couple weeks) you can start referring and earning more bonuses too!

Here’s the ING page that explains it.

Just figured I’d throw it out there in case anybody’s interested. Especially with Christmas and the holidays coming up we’ll probably all be broke (I know I am) and could use a little extra cash afterwards! heh.

So who’s handled our new $50 bills?

Love them or hate them?
